Job overview:
The Group Senior Brand Manager Puzzles will lead brand strategy, portfolio management and product development for multiple brands across markets within Jumbo Group. Managing a team of brand managers, this role drives innovation, product launches, packaging redesigns, and brand adaptations. A creative mindset, market expertise, and strong consumer understanding are essential, along with the ability to collaborate across teams to execute both short- and long-term strategies.
Key responsibilities:
· Team manager: lead and inspire a team of group brand managers.
· Market and consumer insights: get full understanding of the market and the consumer preferences.
· Strategic planning: develop and execute long-term (3-year) and short-term (1-year) brand and product strategies. Implement brand strategy plans across all markets.
· Sales performance: Proactively manage and monitor sales performance, adjusting as needed. Collaborate on trade marketing, product development, innovation and local marketing and sales teams.
· Product and quality improvement: continuously initiate improvements in product quality and diversification of product assortment.
· Creative Mindset: Understand the consumer in depth and with that, being capable of setting the next (innovative) steps withing this category to grow and evolve.
· Briefings: Prepare and coordinate briefings for product development and brand-related content.
· Research: support and brief qualitative and quantitative research initiatives for brands and products.
· Education: University degree in marketing, creative business, or a marketing-related field (Bachelor / Master Diploma)
· Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
o Previous team management experience.
o Strategic & forward thinking
o Outstanding in long-term relationship management
o Strong project management skills & strong ability to meet deadlines
o Affinity with Jumbo Group products; knowledge of the toy market is preferred.
o Fluent in English & Dutch.
